Lissotriton boscai / Triturus boscai

Also called Bosca’s Newt and Iberian Newt.
This newt varies can reach 10cm in length. It has a dark green and brown spotted top and fire-orange on the ventral side (belly), with some dark spots. It is endemic from the Iberian Penisula. It lives in forests, rivers, freshwater lakes, swamps and tanks. Unfortunately, this species is in danger of extinction due to habitat loss.

I found some newts in a water mine and in a water tank in an old farm.
